santa rosa, napa, novato. but probably getting used to that this time of year. it's been chilly day after day and even in toward the valley here. concord and livermore very cool. upper 40s to about 50 degrees. so how cool? compared to yesterday, oakland and half moon bay, the big losers with temperatures much, much cooler. but that's all relative because it is typical for early october to see these readings drop into the 40s and 50s. so we have sort of an anomaly going on with warmth in the afternoon. and then the longer nights allowing for time for the air to cool and drain into the valleys. with no cloud cover to boot, we are chilly forecast for the rest of the day is calling for warm conditions. a few high clouds and the high clouds not doing much town hint the solar radiation or the warming. so we are still going to see numbers well above average and carolina days ahead. in fact, the coolest days by about the middle of the week. so right now it's all about mid-and upper level high pressure allowing for that light offshore flow to continue to bring the warmth
